Jim and Betty

Hello. My name is Jim. I live in Eastbourne. I am nine. I like reading and playing football. I have got very nice toys. My favourite toys  are a spaceship and a kite. I keep them in the cupboard. I also like watching videos. After school I like playing computer games.

This is my sister, Betty. She is seven. Betty likes computer games and listening to music, too. She likes playing with her dolls. She has got two dolls. She calls them Milly and Lilly. She also has got two toy rabbits. She keeps the dolls and the rabbits on her bed.

GOOD FRIENDS

Lily is a little green frog. She lives in the lake. She is very active. Lily swims, plays, jumps every day. But she likes travelling best of all. Every day she travells to another lake to visit her friends Pat and Pit. They are big brown birds. Pat, Pit and Lily do morning exercises, have breakfast and play different games together. They are happy!

One day Lily’s friends say: “We are going to fly to a warm country because it’s cold”. Lily also wants to go to a warm country but frogs can’t fly.

Lily has a plan. She asks Pit and Pat to take her to the warm country. Lily puts a stick into her mouth. Pat takes one end of the stick and Pit takes the other end of the stick and they flow to the warm country. Lily can’t speak.

Two girls see the birds. One girl said, “Oh! Look! What have the birds got? Is it a chicken?”

“No, I’m not a chicken! I am a frog,” says Lily and falls down.
